AmeriPride Services looking for a Receptionist/Mailroom Coordinator to join our team!!

The Receptionist/Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a friendly and welcoming first impression of AmeriPride Services as our first point of contact for phone and in-person contact.

This position will operate a multi-line telephone system, answer incoming calls and directing the calls to appropriate employee. Welcomes visitors, maintains the visitor log and announces them to the appropriate employee. Responsible for all Mail Room activities; including but not limited to, sorting incoming mail, printing and applying stamps to outgoing mail, FedEx shipments, and notifying staff of deliveries. The Receptionist/Mailroom Coordinator will also ensure inventory for both general office and mailroom supplies

Job Tasks and Activities Include:
Customer Service Support 60%
• Welcome on-site visitors, confirm appointment and announce visitor to appropriate personnel
• Greet vendors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer main telephone line, determine purpose of call and forward to appropriate individual or department
• Screen calls and resolve first level issues; provides callers with basic information such as various branch addresses and phone numbers, company website and other related information
• Ensure an orderly and welcoming entry and lobby area
Back Office Support 40%
• Maintain an adequate inventory of general office supplies
• Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail/packages accordingly
• Distribute intra-company mails to various off-site locations
• Prepare outgoing mail, including FedEx and other overnight delivery services
• Respond promptly to inquiries regarding shipments and material orders
• Maintain a neat and clean mailroom and appropriate mailroom supplies

Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year working as a receptionist in a busy office
• Previous experience using a multi-line phone system.
• Strong computer skills using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Projects a positive public image and professional demeanor.
Preferred Education/Experience
• Previous mailroom experience a plus
• Knowledge of using Stamps.com and FedEx mailing systems
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
• Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
• Detailed oriented and highly organized
