Job Description

AmeriPride Services is seeking driven, confident and industrious Sales Manager! This position is responsible for the planning, direction, execution and evaluation of sales efforts that will exceed the overall strategic growth and profitability objectives of the company for an assigned area or market. This position collaboratively works with organizational teams and resources to ensure the effective execution of sales processes, sales activities, and development of assigned sales representatives; manages sales team on the efficient prospecting and acquisition of new customers, business, and subsequent results.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the hiring, placement, and coaching of sales reps within given area of responsibility. Consults and works with management on the best action to take in regards to sales staffing.
Effectively motivates and develops performance of staff or initiative personnel in accordance with company goals and values. Guide employees to training and ensures time for development and reinforces through coaching new skills and abilities.
Collaboratively works with corporate cross-functional teams to set and ensure execution of sales activities that will target new customers and new sales opportunities.
Monitors new customer sales performance on a continual basis; coach’s teams and individuals as needed to ensure goals are met.
Collaboratively works with branch management to ensure effective implementation and execution of sales programs targeting new customers. Continually seeks to establish and maintain teamwork between him/herself and operations general/branch managers (and management).
Ensures standardized sales processes are used to leverage opportunities for efficient new sales and its subsequent impacts on service and production.
Diligently follows new sales and marketing trends within assigned areas/markets. Maintains vigilant awareness of competitors efforts and communicates activities and trends in a timely manner to key contacts within his/her team and within the company.
Conducts continuous communication with the sales director and corporate sales staff on overall business results and progress to stated organizational sales goals around new customers and business.
Adheres to corporate standards for the planning and coordination of sales projects/activities and ensures appropriate data, reports, schedules and budgeting information is processed in a timely manner.
Reviews financial statements, reports, and other performance data in a dedicated manner. Measures financial productivity and sales goal achievement to determine areas in need of remediation and improvement.

Requirements
Minimum Education/Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, Business, Marketing (or related degree) or equivalent business/work experience
Two to four years experience in a business-to-business corporate sales environment, with proven track record of increasing responsibility with documented business results
Persuasive communication, presentation and sales skills. Creative problem solving skills. Strong skills in building and developing a team. Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
Ability to deal with all levels of staff and management
Inquisitive, detail-oriented with strong quantitative analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving in a fast paced sales oriented environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; experience with Oracle On-demand or Salesforce.com preferred
Possessing a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and a dependable vehicle


Preferred Skills/Experience
Previous management experience desired with emphasis on successful recruitment,
development and retentions of a productive sales workforce
Bilingual (Spanish and/or French)
